Call for Participation: Gender Balance Focus Group on Care for Older Adults

We are excited to invite healthcare professionals and researchers working in the field of care for older adults to participate in an online focus group organized under the framework of the COST Action PROGRAMMING (CA21122).

Objective

The focus group aims to explore gender balance issues and promote the inclusion of men in caregiving roles within the care sector. Insights gathered will contribute to enhancing understanding and developing strategies to address gender disparities in this critical area.

Who Can Join?

We welcome participation from:

  • Healthcare professionals (e.g., doctors, nurses, caregivers, gerontologist ) working with older adults.
  • Researchers and academics studying aging, care practices, or gender balance.
  • Representatives of care organizations or policymakers interested in addressing gender issues in caregiving.

Time Investment

Participants are expected to join a 90-minute online meeting scheduled for a time in February to May 2025. Further details about the date and time will be shared upon registration.
