Attending the COST Academy Young Researchers’ Training in Brussels was a truly inspiring experience. As a representative of PROGRAMMING COST Action 21122, I felt deeply honored to take part in an event dedicated to empowering young researchers and innovators within the COST network.
The training provided valuable insights into how COST Actions can support the professional growth of early-career researchers through collaboration, networking, and shared experiences. Listening to other young researchers’ personal journeys within COST Actions helped me better understand the real impact of these initiatives on career development and scientific cooperation.
The Personal Mastery Lab was an especially meaningful part of the day — it encouraged self-reflection on my professional goals and how to align them with future opportunities. The interactive and supportive atmosphere made it easy to connect with peers from diverse disciplines and backgrounds, all sharing the same enthusiasm for research and innovation.
Overall, this experience strengthened my sense of belonging within the COST community and motivated me to continue contributing actively to PROGRAMMING COST Action 21122. It reminded me how valuable collaboration and continuous learning are in shaping both personal and professional growth of young researchers.
